OBSERVATIONS & REFLECTIONS
I sought to play with shadows, making them central to the composition. The actual subjects are not visible, leaving a sense of mystery. The shadow of the camel caravan cast on the ground offers an alternative perspective to the story in a creative way. The elongated shadows during the golden hour light in this image will make a viewer feel like an invitation to ponder the journey's end or the closing of a day.

OBSERVATIONS & REFLECTIONS
The image uses light to create contrast between the sky and the terrain. The camels and riders are mostly in shadow, set against a lighter background, which draws the viewer's focus towards the caravan moving through the vast landscape. With the clear and contrasting light, the image creates a feeling of adventure and exploration. The crispness and cooler hues of the light feel refreshing and invigorating.

The brightest parts are the sky near the horizon, and the light reflected off the dust and sand, which provide the image's backdrop. OBSERVATIONS & REFLECTIONS
The sun's backlighting creates a hazy, ethereal atmosphere and silhouettes the camel caravan, emphasizing their outline against the brighter background. The layering of the hills in various shades of light and dark provides depth to the composition. The soft, diffused light of the image instils a sense of tranquillity and timelessness. It feels like a quiet, early morning journey with the soft light invoking a peaceful emotion.
